just for interest sake, is it you selling the car? if so, can you tell me if you are certain it has ABS?

If so, thi si very rare indeed on a type r.

I have only ever heard of one two door impreza with abs (except p1), and that was a factory one off 22B.

Does this mean it doesnt have centre diff control?

Cool

yes it DOES have abs, making it quite rare. However, abs means no diff control either, so you win on one side and lose on the other.

yes, abs is quite rare, but it's a V-Limited special edition, hence the good spec.

A few questions

Is it an STI or a WRX?
Does it have a roof flap?
What is the ltd-number of it?
Which tyres/how much tread left?
Have you returned it back to standard or have you not touched it?
What security?
Full service history?
Where was it serviced?
When did you purchase it?
How many owners?
Who installed the ABS? Do you still have the intercooler spray?
Any stone chips? Scratches? Dents?
Any track days?

That will do for now cheers

Cool

long abscence from this 'thread'

answers as follows;

its a WRX not an STI

Roof flap yes, rally style and small, but effective, opens from front hence 'wasp catcher'

No 93 of 1000

tyres are 205/60/15, getting low on tread though

no mods, all standard with 300PS (~295BHP) it seems fast enough for me

security - tracker/cat 1 alarm/wheel nuts/ plus I use a stoplock for visual deterence against low IQ SCUM.
Med IQ SCUM might realise there is a cat ! alarm.

serviced at 15,000 for £167 with Suberu invoice, ex Suberu mechanic who deals with imports. Down in Petersfield, Hampshire. Go for morning, back at work by lunch.

Purchased Nov00 from Zubi Motors, London. I'm the second owner in UK, but owner was importer. It's now legal to import cars as a business. It wasn't then.

ABS fitted at manufacture. I'll post a pic tonight. That'll get you wondering ! What Of ??

I/C Spray - presume yes, how do I check that one please.

Stone Chips etc - none last time I looked. I'll look v closely tonight

Track Days - None yet, but I'm very tempted to do some soon - funds permitting.

No turbo timer, but I do run manually.
Fast driving, yes after engine warm of course.

Airhead,

If it is a type r then it must be an sti.

Unless I have been completely wrong always about this, all type r (two doors) are stis.

you would know as it would have a red intake manifold under the bonnet and pink badges.

if it has intercooler water spraty there will be a button for activating it inside the car which will say i/c spray.

When you open the bonnet, if it has water spray there will be a refillable plastic water bottle in the bottom left hand corner by the strut which supports the bonnet.

And one more thing. power ouput on standard stis and wrx is 280ps = 276 bhp. None of them have been released from the factory with more than that.

Adam, WRX type-R v-ltd was made.

You are right about the power - but I would imagine it being more around 260Bhp.

Cool

Re; Power

I thoght that they OFFICIALLY quote 280PS because this is the upper limit in terms of the Japanese Gentlemans Agreement not to make road cars over this level.

I thought they do make cars over this limit, but obviously can not advertise this fact without breaking this agreement.

I may be wrong.

Can always do a dyno test on the car, which I haven't done.
