Sorry Peter, Im not interested in buying your car but have a couple of questions. How does the quad cam configuration work? Is the engine the same as the Impreza but with twin cam heads? And what capacity engine are they, a 2.5? And what power are they supposed to have with what performance figures? How does their handling compare to an Impreza?
Sorry about getting your hopes up!!

I dont know about the 4 cam thing, but the car (assuming it a UK one) has 197bhp as standard and is 2.0l, the engine is similar to an early uk impreza and have been known to run ok at around 250 bhp.

the wifes got one of these and as far as i know the engine is the same as the impreza apart from the fact that the legacy runs a charge cooler instead of an intercooler, they handle similarly apart from the estate being a little heavier toward the rear making it turn a little quicker after initial turn in .
my wifes has got 140k on the clock and does the 0-60 in under 6 .
main advantages are no one goading u to race,no police interest and the look of shock on the rs turbo boys faces after being blown away by an estate.
go on buy one you know it makes sense, all the performance, even easier to justify to the wife on practicality grounds (loads of room in back) and a couple of grand cheaper than an impreza of the same year.

0-60 in under 6 seconds???
you sure about that. That makes it as fast as an impreza, although it's heavier and has less power, even GTB's with 280bhp just manage a sprint to 60 in 5.9 seconds. Don't see how having 83 less horses it can be anywhere near as quick.
