No it monitors the air/fuel ratio to ensure that you aren't running the engine lean. Often used in conjunction with a knocklink.

It comes with three wires, two for power, one for lamda sensor

That's it.

will try to post picture are the weekend.

speedstermick - pm me if you want it. There are no fittings as such most people connect it into the sensor wire on the ECU and any available power.
