X reg. MY00 for sale. Now with pics. Now standard £7500
Depressing to do this, but I can't really justify two mad cars....
Mica red classic 4 dr, 52k, fdsh, cat1 alarm, aircon. It's almost mint, detailed engine bay, etc. I have receipts for everything spent on the car. It's been reliable in my time with it, requiring only the usual 5th gear repair and one rear wheel bearing, both done under warranty. I'm open to discussion with any prospective purchaser about whether they would prefer to have the car as standard, or as it is now. It currently has Tek3, S/sport uppipe and d/pipe, sti b/box, ported headers, sti5 i/c and relevant samcos, sti panel filter. Fitted with new gold 17" Prodrive pd7s and Toyos, colour coded skirts, crystal indicators and side repeaters, PIAA spotlamp conversion, sti7 scoop. Inside, it has the standard type momo wheel, but with the red stitching, as has the gearknob and h/brake gaitor, alloy g/lever surround, alloy pedals from '01 WRX, digi inlet temp gauge, autometer boost gauge and remote knocklink leds mounted in the pillar pod.
There are no suspension or brake upgrades other than painted calipers ( in Prodrive gold ) and a brake master cylinder support bracket, which is supposed to stop the bulkhead flexing under heavy braking.
It's U.K. spec., imported new from Holland by its one previous owner, from whom I purchased it approx. two years ago. Always run on Optimax, oil and filter always changed every 3k. I had the cambelt changed the day I bought the car at 40k.
Seem to be a difficult car to value these days, I'm happy to discuss a price personally with anyone interested, I'm on 07909 902828, cheers, Andy.

Grant, you're probably right tbh, just didn't want to get into posting a price and then having to undergo the usual public debate about how it's overpriced and worth less because it's not a ' proper ' U.K. car, etc. That's why I posted my phone no. in the ad, and not the price.....at least it makes the serious people have to physically speak to you, rather than just voicing an opinion on here. Sorry if I sound a bit cynical, I hate selling cars.....trouble with me is I get too attached to them. Thanks for posting though.
Matt, you've seen it, how tempted did you say you were?

Right, well, had a few moments of indecision, and thought about trying to justify hanging on to it, but she's spoilt it now by asking me to marry her !!!!! So, that's that, and it's definately gotta go. Get your wallets oot, 'cos the way things stand, we'll be staying at home for the honeymoon.

Recaro, yeah, sorry, just seen this, still for sale mate, and I don't really understand why, tbh. Really am tempted to keep it, if it wouldn't cause so much trouble at home. I'm an absolute numptie when it comes to posting pics, suppose that's gonna be a stumbling block, but I'm not in the habit of bull****ting people......know what it's like to drive miles, only to look at a misdescribed heap of pap on arrival. Haven't got what it takes to put somebody through all that. Give me a buzz, maybe we can arrange for you to see it somewhere in the middle....whereabouts you based?
Graham, sorry, should have called, it's yours if you still want it, busy day tomorrow, but I'll try to give you a buzz to make arrangements.

Crikey Andy, thought you'd have sold this by now!! FWIW to those interested in buying, it's *mint* and no, I don't have a vested interest in it.
PS Congratulations on your engagement

Graham, just given you a call mate, left a message, you've got my number, just as and when.
Matt, cheers for that, finally given up dodging the life sentence!
You know what it's like selling a car, just getting someone to actually come and see it'd be a start! It's definately gotta go now, apart from getting hitched, I've booked the Evo in for 340 brake and AP brakes/18" alloys, etc. Too much is never enough.
