Very nice car your mates got KGB!
My mate owned it two years ago. It's original origin was from "Dennis Common's" which is the main Subaru Dealer in Northumberland.
I can remember the plate being something like M___VBR ?
The original owner was the owner of Heligate's which is a garden centre NR Morpeth Northumberland, this guy's now got an RB5 (Lucky Chap!)
My mate then bought it back in 1999, then traded it in a year later against a Toyota Supra 3.0 Twin Turbo @ Priory Toyota in Gateshead.
I later spotted the No.001 car for sale @ Chester Motor Company NR Durham.
Good Luck to your mate, as again it's a fine car and it's been well looked after!
Cheers

Thanx 4 the history RickyD, we didn't know too much about its origins. My mate bought it earlier this year from the garage u mention in Chester-le-Street. The car is still as well looked after as it has been the rest of its life but is reluctantly up for sale now and looking for another enthusiast owner. The car is still quite close to its origins, just 80ish miles from u.
