Oh right... I assumed cause it has the different springs, that it would make a sound, maybe not the "Pttttssshhhhh" sound that a normal one does, but give a chatter like sound?!

I think springs are there to cope with different boost pressures mate.
Maybe get a slight noise but nothing like vta one.

I believe Forge sell it for a V4 whcih is what 98?
I have a FMIC so pipe work different and bought the one that I could alter the pipe work for.
It can make pppptttssssst sound if you don't recirculate it and dump to atmosphere.
You can adjust the springs and shims to alter whether it dumps or nopt and ensure iti s shut on cruise and idle
