Thumbs up Pioneer 8400MP (MP3, WMA, CD, Radio) For Sale

This stunning headunit was in my STi 2003 and was removed about 9 months ago. It has not been used since and has been sitting in its original box ever since. The colour of the silver perfectly matches the dash of the WRX and STI.

I have the correct iso connectors for the current Impreza, and also the bottom pocket to slot in the 2nd din slot. All of which are included in the price.

This unit made a massive difference to the sounds quality in the car, remember although the speakers are not great in the Impreza, the head unit is the real weak point.

I am looking for £200 ovno for everything, including postage.

Please PM me if you are interested, i have traded before on Scooby net and have people who will back me up as a good trader.

Interested. Can you send a pic of the front as a web search shows a different model than the one on the link.

Any scratches etc ?

Is the bottom pocket silver or black.

Cheers,

Nick

Hi Nick,

The bottom pocket is just the standard black bin type pocket. You could also get the flip pocket from the Forrester and fit that.

The unit is mint, there are no marks on it at all.

I will try and find some more pictures of it and post them later. The full product name is Pioneer DEH-8400MP. I hope this helps.

Best,

Ed

In the blurb it says DAB ready - any idea what that means ?

I could be tempted if it's easy to add later...

Does it match the 05 dash ?

Tempted.. But a bit more than I want to pay.

If you'll take £160 I'll have it.

DAB is digital radio. Would be cool to have that on a car stereo. Although they do make them with it on now.

In order to get DAB, you need to add the DAB box and a DAB ariel. Standard for most headunits nowerdays.

Nick, i am open to offers, but given everything that is included. Iso (£15) and pocket (£15) and Postage (£10) I think it is a good deal.

I am not about to let the unit go for £120, which is what you are asking me to do. (If you follow)

Thks
got any links for the dab box / ariel ?

Sorry - does it match the 05 dash - not sure if it's different colour to the 03.
05 is a silvery/bluey/greyish/metallic colour..

i think it will, i am sure they did not do any major changes to the dash for the 05, if they did bring it in line with the forester it will look totally fine.

The dab unit required for the head unit is GEX-P700DAB (i think)

It comes in quite expensive at about £190

Thanks for all your replies.

I would rather the sale went through a bit sooner than that, as i have plans for the money. I will keep you informed, and if nothing happens sooner, i am sure we can sort it out nearer when you get paid.

Gene1 you have a pm

Still for sale.

I am in London, although my dad lives near Chichester (which is not too far from you).

The back screen slides down and there is a slot behind it. It is very slick.
