2-pot big disk kit
#1
I am changing my brakes so when they are fitted I will have the following for sale:
2 Hi-Spec 8-groove 312x28mm disks/bells
2 Adapted Subaru 2-pot calipers
Nearly new Greenstuff pads (under 1000 miles)
Brackets

The calipers have been adapted to accept the thicker disk - basically the lower bit of the caliper "guard" which sticks out (not the main body) has been opened slightly.
The disks work much better than standard disks due the much larger size (277mm standard - 295mm 4-pot disk - 312mm grooved disk) and therefore increase in leverage as well as being thicker for cooling.
The disks are two-part (i.e. outer disk and gold bell)
If your wheels have sufficient clearance, four pots are a more logical way to go but if your wheels don't, then this works well.
As per my original post, I originally had Speedline Chronos on my car which are notorious for lack of caliper clearance.
Thanks
Gavin
