Mica Red MY00 WRSport Turbo
OK the time has come to sell my beloved car. The car is a MY00 Subaru Impreza World Rally Sport Prodrive Edition. This is the only one of its kind that was built in the year 2000 and I have only ever come across one other WRS throughout the UK and this was a MY99 in Dark Blue.
Basically the car is a UK Turbo Impreza that was pulled off the factory line and taken aside by Prodrive. It was then fitted with ALL of the Prodrive Extras including the Prodrive Performance Pack (PPP), Prodrive Handling Pack, Prodrive Styling Pack and the Prodrive Interior Pack. I have had confirmation from Mike Wood of Prodrive that this car was indeed built by them on the 4th January 2000. I have the WR Certificate to prove this and the car has all of the original Internal and External 'WR' Badging. In standard form the PPP Impreza boosts power from standard UK output of 217bhp and 219 ft/lb torque to 240bhp & 255 ft/lb torque. The PPP consists of a revised ECU, improved Intercooler Pipework and uprated Exhaust. However as previously mentioned the WRS also has the following fitted to it:
Prodrive Handling Pack - Prodrive Quickshift, Prodrive/Sti stamped suspension consisting of Eibach Springs and Bilstein Dampers.
Prodrive External Pack - Colour Coded Skirts and Mirrors, 17 inch Gold PD7 Speedline Alloys shod with Falken 451 rubber, PIAA Driving Lamps, Exclusive 'WR' Prodrive Rear Wing.
Prodrive Interior Pack - Momo Gear ****, Arista Electric Recaro 'Sport' Seats with Lumbar support and full complimenting door cards etc, Prodrive Mats
On top of this I have also added some Modifications of my own and these are as follows:
Magnecor KV85 Ignition Leads
Twin A-Pillar Mount with Autometer Phantom Boost and AFR Gauges
Alpine Stereo
Samco Turbo Hoses
Goodridge Braided Brake Lines with Motul Dot4.1 Fluid
Front EBC Grooved and drilled discs
Whiteline Uprated rear Drop Links
Whiteline Anti Lift Kit (just fitted)
Walbro Uprated Fuel Pump
This car was purchased with 28K miles and now has 48K miles with a Full Service History. I have changed the oil every 3500 miles and have either used Motul 300V or Silkolene fully synthetic. The Cambelt was changed at 38K miles along with the coolant, Gear Box and Rear Diff Oil (castrol Syntrax used), Spark Plugs were changed at 40K miles and the MAF Sensor, O2 Sensor and Boost Solenoid have all been changed in the last 12 months. The brake fluid was changed at the same time the braided hoses were fitted this being with 42K miles on the clock. The car itself also comes with a Factory fitted electric sunroof. As I have mentioned the car currently has 48K miles and apart from the usual stone chips to the front is in excellent condition. I am looking to sell the car as I can honestly say I fancy a change.....I am lookin for offers in the region of £9500 ONO. Heres a couple of photographs and if you are interested then please e-mail me at scoobykarl@hotmail.com

Thanks guys - this is quite a rare find I just don't want to drive it along to a dealer and get offered standard UK Turbo money for it cos when this was released it retailed at over £30K with all the Prodrive additions

BTTT
The car will be being put back to standard WR spec (Mods and decals will be removed) over the next few weeks and I'll listen to offers around the £10K mark
The car will however still be fitted with the Autometer Gauges in the twin A Pillar mount (easier to leave in than remove). The Exhaust will now be a Prodrive Back Box rather than Scoobysport - prodrive centre and d/pipe. The car has new EBC front drilled and grooved Discs which I will leave on aswell as a brand new fitted Anti Lift Kit. The Magnecor KV85 Leads will also be left in place and there will be Mud Flaps fitted to the car also. Tyres were only replaced during the summer of last year and the car has since I purchased it, been used as my daily commute car to work. I would love to find this car a good home rather than wheel it into a dealer who will no doubt not appreciate it for what it is

Thanks for the comments guys
I will be VERY Sad to see this car go but needs must and an Evo beckons Anti Lift Kit was fitted today and wheel alignment will be checked within the next week or so. With the ALK the car handles superbly and as the rear mud flaps are looking worse for wear they will be removed.
Anyway another BTTT

Thanks mate - I do wonder if I am doing the right thing though at times - I mean I have just had the anti lift kit fitted (cos the old bushes were tired) and my word the handling is superb. Completley transformed the car ! The thing is the car drives so well - and its a quick well handling Scoob, just need to find her a good home
