Forgot to say:

Car has onboard Computer (For those new to VR6's) which has 2 Trips, one that resets everytime (Shows Jourey Time, Average Speed, MPG, Miles Travelled) the Second never resets, but i tend to reset it each time i fill up, shows exactly the same but just accumilates so at the end of a tank of fuel you can see exactly how good the car's been etc.

Also the Oil Temp, outside temp is displayed in the same screen within the dash.

These are excellent cars and on mixed driving (with a heavy foot ) I average around 28-29mpg in my Fiancee's one. I would have one for sure if they weren't front wheel drive just for the noise of the engine alone

Good luck with the sale.

Yes I did but it wasn't something that I was selling

You aren't allowed to post links to your own ebay auctions or someone elses in for sale. I believe it's in the sticky at the top of the for sale section somewhere.

ah I see, cheers Paul, I just thought there might be a different reason for not putting ebay links on here maybe it would become flooded with loads of crap for sale if they did allow it

Nick, that golf really does look nice, good luck in selling

Hi Paul - i was surprised too!

I think just the fact that it's 3 Door, Black, way below 100k and not Auto is a big reason i've had so much interest!

A lot of VR6's are Auto or 5 door which are two things most people don't want.

I'll see where else i can put it, it's on Ebay along with Pistonheads etc so i'm sure i'll get a buyer. Just a case of someone seeing it, i'm confident they'll want it as there aren't many good VR6's about now - i looked at enough crap myself before i found this one!

Performance VW magazines website is good too and free IIRC. I also use www.clubgti.com and in their forum they have a for sale section and there's a vr6 owners site somewhere but I can't remember what it's called There's also edition38 if you get desperate too

You are right though, a friend was looking for one a while ago and all the ones about were 5 door which he didn't want although my fiancees is a 5 door and I like it.

Yours is a nice colour, 3 door and has really low miles which is unusual for these. I thought Catherines was pretty low at 102,000 when she bought it and hers is a '94.

the only real problem with these is that VW made the highline, if not then these would be even more desirable than they already are.
