Default Tek 3, and other mods........

Right, well, if it won't sell in one piece ( see my other thread, titled X reg MY00 for sale ) it'll be going back to standard, hence this thread.

The bits that'll be coming off will include Bob Rawle Tek3. It would be sensible for any interested party to consider purchasing the following mods to accompany this as the car was mapped with them fitted.

Sti5 i/c and relevant Samcos, Janspeed/ Scoobysport type downpipe (lagged ) Sti b/box, Sti panel filter. The car also has ported headers, a Janspeed/Scoobysport uppipe, and other minor mods ( i/c tilt kit and splitter ). I'm happy to supply the tilt kit and splitter ( both home made ) with the other bits if required, however, the uppipe and headers will be staying with the car, as I believe the difference they make to the performance, and hence the remap, aren't significant enough to put myself through the grief of removing them. Only ever got bright green on the knocklink with this setup on optimax.

Also, 17" Prodrive PD7 alloys in gold ( latest style with polished alloy centre cap ), fitted with Toyos. They are in as new condition ( 'cos they virtually are new, 1000 miles only ). Graham72 has already expressed an interest here and has 1st refusal.

Car also has colour coded skirts, obviously in Mica red...will sell, but deal requires that I receive your perfect unpainted items in part exchange. Mine are mint.

Clear h/lamp and foglight protectors.

Polished alloy kickplates times 4.

TSL gear gaiter and alloy surround ( £100 new!!! ). Mint.

WRX alloy pedals ( fromm MY01 onwards ). Almost new.

Sti style momo red stitched steering wheel, with matching gear **** and handbrake ( all genuine Subaru parts ). These parts all look like the standard fit items, except for the red stitching, and the fact that the h/brake also has the chrome release button. Subtly different from standard. All mint.

Silver painted window switch and vent surrounds, no exchange required. Professionally done in Audi aluminium silver and lacquered to high gloss.

Sti7 bonnet scoop in Mica red. Floyd has 1st refusal.

Home made brake servo support bracket. Painted black with allen bolt fittings...looks factory fit.

Also for sale, never got around to fitting it, Sti8 i/c and clutch master cylinder.

WRX '01 onwards i/c, no d/v.

Bound to be some stuff I've forgotten, I'll post it up when I remember what it is!

Unless someone buys the car complete, it'll be going to the dealers in standard form, pics of the car with most of this stuff on it are in the main ad mentioned at the top of this thread.

Offers either on here, via p.m., or buzz me on 07909 902828, cheers, Andy.

Er, d/v? You got the right advert mate? If you mean the one on the sti8 i/c it's standard and will be sold complete, cheers.

well as i said wheels are sold if you do end up doing this!
its a shame but as you said the market for them has gone a bit weird lately

Hi Graham, how's the spoiler? . Again , thanks for doing the pics, looks like it was to no avail however. If your offer on the wheels/tyres still stands, then it looks like they'll be yours shortly. Just want to make sure the dealer'll stand by their offer on the standard car before I tear it down.

RB5 286, good question about the value of the Tek3.....do you want it complete with the other mods?. Can't honestly say I know what it's worth, however iirc, they're £720 for the original map, and I believe it's £150 to get the map tweaked to suit new mods/new car. How about £350 for the ecu? Reasonable saving? It was undoubtedly the single most significant mod I made to the car, and made me change my mind about selling it for something faster at the time. Btw, I don't need an exchange.

Graham, they're yours mate, dealer is now arsing me about with the car, but I'm sick of doing nothing more positive about selling it....if I start to break it, I'll be more inclined to make more effort. Plus, I've had a lot of response to the bits, so it makes sense. Let me know what you want to do. Glad you're happy with the spoiler......worked out well now that your other half's cleaned the car for you! Sorry we couldn't have sorted this out when I saw you, didn't really think it'd come to this though.

Hi Graham, maybe meet halfway ( Clackett Lane services on the M25? ) if my mate can't help? Think about if you want anything else, it might save a trip in future! . Not that I'm trying to sell more bits or anything!
