Breaking STi V8 Type UK Engine
All parts available, engine has done less than 3000 miles.

Yes we have the hard pipe that carries water across from side to the other
Not sure if it should go with the short motor though As for the map sensor i would say classic one is different.

Jon, bottom ends are same in terms of physical dimensions, STi V7 have forged pistons whereas the later STi V8 have hypereutectic pistons. In terms of swap over there is no issues.

Skool, the clutch & flywheel have done about 3000 miles, includes release bearing. I have been informed that material would have to be removed from the bellhousing to get this clutch & flywheel to fit a classic gearbox so probably not worth the hassle 
S3TH, will send some piccies on to you. One of the tubes has a deep gouge in it, we havent pressure tested it yet to see if it leaks .

Have you actually tried to fit a 6 speed clutch and flywheel inside a 5 speed gearbox casing? I think you would have to grind some material off the inside of the 5 speed bellhousing due to the larger physical size of the clutch.

Paul, I havent actually tried it so to simplify it I have edited my comments above about clutch combinations Cheers
