version 1 wrx/sti no.001/100 (requires attention!)

hi all, up for offers is my version 1 wrx/sti no. 001/100 made. i have owned the vehicle for a few months and have done less than 4000 miles and i'm pretty p####d to say the least to find the big ends have become noisey!! i originally paid £5450 for this and have spent the best part of £1100 on it since purchase. i know i'm gonna lose serious money but just can't afford to have the engine rebuilt.

details:-
12 months mot tax end feb
full scoobysport decat exhaust system
sti panel filter
18" mak racing spirit lightweight alloys
4 new toyo proxes t1-s 215-35-18 tyres (less than 500 miles)
new cross drilled and grooved rear discs with ebc redstuff pads (fitted)
new cross drilled and grooved front discs with ebc redstuff pads (not fitted)
new goodridge braided lines (rear fitted front not)
new whiteline rear anti roll bar (not fitted)
new whiteline front and rear solid droplinks (not fitted)
new lambda sensor (not fitted)
new ngk pfr7b plugs
new philips vision headlight bulbs
new near side rear wheel bearing
sti front splitter and hoop rear spoiler
sti interior vgc
sti pedals
bodywork vgc
lamco gauges
private wrx plate
clifford concept 300 cat 1 alarm with intellistart
just approaching 90k miles

surely worth something for what it is. forgot to say there's also a sony radio cassette , 10 disc changer , amp and sub. some bad points:- hairline crack down front splitter and wheels could do with a refurb. believe me if i could afford to get it done i would.

You might get more money breaking it for spares - i see alot of nice bits on that one : )

that would be such a shame with it being no.1/100. willing to let go at the right price so someone can get it sorted and enjoy it again.

Bit ironic considering my username that this is number one and in blue...

Have you had a quote for the rebuild yet or do you know how much one will cost for the car?

mate had a quote off api for rebuild £1800+vat if i take the engine to them.

sorry mate don't really fancy a calibra. also forgot to mention it's had a new near side rear wheel bearing, the alarm has intellistart and has sti alloy pedals.
