Default Evo 6 RS2 "52"Reg, one of last uk VI's sold.

I'm selling my Evo 6 RS2.
1 owner from new(me) No finance on the car and HPI clear.
One of the last few UK Evo 6's sold.
UK car with balance of Mitsubishi Warranty.(also option to extend)
Registered October 2002 on a "52" plate.
24000 miles from new.
Full Ralliart main dealer service history, with extensive warranty work carried out (I'm one fussy bugger ) Maintained regardless of cost(ask the wife )
Just had new clutch and brand spanking new(not re-con) gearbox replaced under warranty.

Spec as follows:

RS2 Scotia White.
Basic seats (not recaro)
Air con instead of climate control.
GSR gearing instead of RS close ratio box.
Electric windows x4.
Electric colour coded mirrors.
Colour coded door handles.
Titanium turbo(GSR size not a small one like Mak).
No front strut brace.
Plate type rear LSD (no active yaw).
Torsen type front LSD.
Quick rack.
Brembo brakes without ABS.(still bright red!!! not the usual brown!)
Driver and passenger airbag.
Black guage faces with speedo that reads uo to 260 mph(Laughable but true)
Fitted boot trim and carpet.
Garnish lights on boot lid ( converted to rear fog lights).
Heated rear screen with no rear wash wipe.
Stiffer body shell with a few more spot welds and a couple of little brackets.

Mods as follows:

Ralliart ECU
HKS SSQV Dump Valve
HKS Racing Suction Kit.
HKS Iridium Plugs
Magnex 3" Stainless Downpipe
3" Stainless De-cat
Fujitsubo Cat Back
Walbro Fuel Pump
APEX i AVCR Boost controller.
Bradi Group N Front Discs (less than 1k use)
EBC Redstuff Ceramic front pads(less than 1k use)
EBC Redstuff Ceramic rear pads(less than 1k use)
Toyo Proxis T1s 225 45 17 Tyres( less than 2k use)
Fast Road geometry set up(best mod yet)

All original standard parts come with car and its fitted with a Rockford Fosgate single disc CD player..

The car runs at 1.5 bar but has never seen a dyno so I won't quote a bhp, but I'd guess its around the 340/350 bhp mark based on the mods. The only time it has seen a track was when it was in the car park at TOTB II.

Fantastic looking car in fantastic condition, any inspection welcome.
This car is not the usual thrashed s#ite. I spent 12 months looking for an Evo and ended up buying new because the cars I'd looked at were in such a state or had dubious history, this car is definately not one of those cars.

Price. £18500 GBP.
May part ex for low milage Integra Type R, no offers, and I won't split any of the mods.

Mantomac - correct me if im wrong but these are a very rare car, I think the intention was a homologation shell for the Group A rally cars, hence no active yaw and the basic seats.

Thats right. Not that many in the UK as most were GSR's.The Extreme and Extreme RS450 all used RS2's as a base car. The Diffs are very strong and take big power easily. It's a really entertaining car to drive mainly because of the "Lack" of computer intervention. In the right hands it would be quite a weapon, I'm too much of a P*ssy these days!
