Lightbulb 1998 UK Turbo saloon

Not 100% sure if I'm going ahead with this. Basically, I've wanted to give motorcycling a go for all my life, and I've kept putting it off and putting it off. The Subaru was bought to try and contain my 2-wheeled desires, but I just can't stop thinking about it .

1998 Impreza Turbo 2000, facelift front-end and dashboard design
Bucket seats as standard
4-door saloon
Air-conditioning
UK car
Mica green
Fitted 4 new tyres a couple of days ago.
Kenwood head-unit and 6-disc CD changer
Cat 1 alarm/immobiliser. Tracker fitted.
61k with full Subaru history to 55k - I've got the oil and filter for the engine, gearbox, diff, etc - should be doing it this weekend. Next owner could still use Subaru for a service as it isn't due until 62k or 63k, should they want to keep the history all main-dealer.
60k service(cambelt) already carried out, at either 48k or 56k - it isn't due for a big one! Have the dealer receipts, this isn't why I'm selling the car!!
Original, unmolested car. Previous owner made a couple of sensible modifications:-
*Clear front and side repeaters(originals available)
*1999MY rear spoiler(original available)
*Centre de-cat(original available)
*P1 backbox(I don't have the original) - makes a lovely noise - not noisy or stupidly loud, it's just very, very nice!

Nice, clean, honest car. I've only had it for a couple of months and it's fantastic, with no faults. But I just have the hankering to go biking, and can't afford to have more than one big toy .

Car has *always* been treated with complete respect and mechanical sympathy. Uses no oil to speak of. Nor coolant. Is never given any stick until thoroughly warmed up. In all honesty, driving using the mid-range pull(changing at 5k or so) of the turbo is plenty fast enough for me, and is how I tend to use the car when I fancy a 'brisk' drive.

Pulls very, very well. Doesn't smoke, doesn't complain. It's a sound example of the classic Impreza.

Might be interested in a p/x - either an early-90's bike(CBR600, VFR750, ZZR600 - WHY? Something big enough for someone 6'2 and wanting to do a spot of touring) or something interesting. Likely to go for a sensible , budget runaround(306DT?) or a 205GTi - though I'd consider something interesting(Porsche 944, mk2 Astra GTE 16v, WHY?). I don't want a Micra, or a BMW 3-series, or a Sierra 1600GL, if you know what I mean . Nor anything wanting gutting and rebuilding. Will sell the car as it stands for £6300 with the parts listed above.

Vehicle is located in Staffordshire. No test pilots and silly boys who haven't got a clue about insurance costs - if you come here, have a test drive, and then complain that you've spoken to your insurance company and they want £23,800 - I'll quite literally take your head off. I'm a nice chap really, but I don't want any timewasters.
