O.K. you Scooby regulars - how do you de-tango the lights? Makes the front look alot cleaner! Some good suggestions so far on how to improve the face of the WRX, anybody know what bottom splitter is fitted to the Type25?

De-Tango headlights
Rizzy,
I'll de-tango your lights for you, on the condition that if they end up fahooked in any way, it ain't my problem. I've done 3 so far, and only had one (my own ) leak afterwards, which was fixed by simply re-opening and applying a bead of silicone sealer around the seam. Takes about 3 hours to do, how does 50 quid sound ?
Let me know, David.

what black background?
on a uk car the bit where the indicator is in the headlamp is orange. to de-tango a uk lamp they have to go in the oven to heat the seal and open them up and remove the orange cover.
cheers

Rizzy,
I think you're after this look.....
.....which requires the same work as de-tango-ing, plus spraying the reflector trim. I don't do spraying, and as stated earlier, if you have a JDM then you already should have de-tango'd lights as standard. If it's just de-tango-ing then I'm in Leeds.
