Default STI5 ECU

Since upgrading to Apexi PFC I have a standard JDM ecu for at WRX Type R V5 that I no longer have a use for.

With only a decat this produced 320bhp at a recent rolling road day (highest of the day) with no sign of any det. It also peaked at 1.4 bar, holding 1.2 with no fuel cut issues.

Looking for £120 plus p+p.

Cheers

Yes it would. I believe two sensors need to be swapped over (just the connections not the sensors themselves) but could double check for you.

Right, spoken to my mate who knows a thing or two about these things and he's not 100% sure if the cam/crank swap will work on 99 car. Its defo ok for the 93-96 cars, i.e.it is not a problem to run UK to JAP by swapping cam and crank sensor connections

Will check a bit further but may not be the best option as may not be a straight swap.

Except that the ecu will have ign maps that will cause the engine to det it nuts off so be careful. Don't forget the fuel pump pins need switching as well, and you will need to ground the imobiliser probably.

Forgot about the pump amd imobiliser, cheers Bob.

As I said looks like it may not be the easiest option.
