It’s a very sad day in my life – My pride and joy, the RB5, is up for sale due to the miles I’m putting on her travelling to work each day.
The details are as follows:-
-RB5 WR Sport (with the PPP).
-1999 T-reg, registered on 25/06/99.
-RB5 number 290 of 444.
-63K miles, last serviced 07/12/2004 for the 75,000 mile service.
-Tax till 1/12/2005.
-MOT till 25/06/2005.
-HPI Clear.
-Full Subaru Service History, full book of stamps.
-Full Subaru Warranty remaining until 24/06/2005.
-RAC Trackstar 24hr Guardian tracker and Subaru CAT 1 Alarm/Immobiliser.
-Personal registration plate reads “RB5 WR”.
-4 Brand new Toyo Proxes T1-S fitted on 24/03/05.
-4 wheel laser alignment to Prodrive suspension settings carried out on 24/03/05.
-Brand new spare set of RB5 mats.
-RB5 Owners Club member owned for last 3 years.
-100% reliable - used daily.
-Oil changed every 3500 miles using Castrol RS oil.
-Always run on optimax super unleaded petrol.
-Always warmed up and cooled down properly before and after each use.
-Cleaned every week using only Autoglym products.
The only modifications to the car are small, but improve both the look and handling of the car. They are:-
-Crystal clear side indicators and chrome bulbs.
-Crystal clear front indicators and chrome bulbs.
-Bumpsteer mod (to reduce the inherent Subaru understeer).
-Whiteline solid drop links all round.
I really do not want to sell this car, but due to the motorway miles I’m being forced to put on her each day, I’m afraid I’m going to have to.
Due to the great condition of this car, both inside and out, combined with the fact that the car still has Subaru Extended Warranty (which is very rare on a car nearly 6 years old), has a tracker fitted AND has a private plate reading the name of the car (RB5 WR), I am looking for offers in the region of
£11,495
If anyone is interested, or wants to ask me anything about the car, drop me a PM or email, and I will give you my phone number so we can talk.

It really is a mint car, I should know, it belonged to my other half for the two years before Lee bought it and she was absolutely nuts about it...keeping up the warranty, getting any blemishes (chips/careless *******s parking etc) fixed within days of damage occuring...oh and the plate was her doing ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
She really wants it back and is having some serious thoughts about it too...I fear for my mortgage drawdown

The car as it was the day Em (my other half, who sold it to Lee) bought it on the 13th June 2002...it won't have changed much, other than clear side repeaters, seeing as both Em and Lee were festidius about keeping the car mint ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

Lee, you could do what I did...buy a second car as a hack, something cheap to run, ideally diesel with low insurance, then insure the scoob as a second car on limited mileage...my combined insurance is now less than it was to insure my scoob on its own with the mileage I was covering (25k + per year)

Thanks for advice guys!
I've been looking into getting a cheap car for the miles to and from work........maybe an old mondeo TD (very exciting!!!!), but if I do that, I'd be tempted to buy an RA on a limited mileage policy for the weekend!!
What do you guys reckon??
The RB5 is still for sale by the way! She's gaggin for a new home!!!

Still for sale guys!
Plus, she's having her 82,500 mile service tomorrow at Subaru (but she's only done 63,000 miles) and getting her MOT done!!
Come on guys, she's fully loaded with Subaru Warranty, Tracker, Private Plate, FSSH and she will have an MOT for a year and be freshly serviced!!!
