Hi Steve,

Hows it going? Just put my bid in £7250

Good luck with the sale! Tempted! If only MY00's weren't worth so little!

Cheers,

Ian.

If funds were there I'd have this car like a shot I've had the pleasure of both riding and driving it in the past, and it is one of the most stunning examples out there

BTTT for you Steve. It would be great if it sold to a Yorkshireman and stayed within the WYIOC

BTW, I detango'd it and helped fit the splitter

Post Car Now Sold

Thanks to everyone who looked, expressed an interest, sent nice comments etc, but as they often say, first to see will buy.
Sold to a good home locally (so may still appear at the WYIOC meets then! as shall I ) & knowing it'll be appreciated & looked after does somewhat soften the blow of selling although I know I'll probably regret it.

A big thank you Steve for such a thorough "demo" and for giving us your time this afternoon. What about the weather

Just a shame my beloved team lost otherwise it would have been a near perfect afternoon

Will be in touch very soon to sort everything.

Best regards

Rob

Will have to come and meet you guys corradoboy. Had my subaru 4 years now and been to the last three rolling road days @ Well Lane but never been to any local "gatherings"

Steve tells me you are not all that bad so you'll have to make room for one more at your forthcoming meets

Rob - you'd be very welcome to join us mate - all the details for the WYIOC meets appear at regular intervals in the Northern section of ScoobyNet.

The main one to remember is last Thurs of the month at The Trading Post, Castleford.

Anyway, you'll HAVE to come, as it's the only way we'll get to see Steve's abosolutely top motor again.... You're a lucky lad, but I'm sure you know that already....

Hope you do Rob, I'd have missed Steve's car like crazy I meant it when I said I'd buy it like a shot; if it weren't for that bl00dy house purchase Oh well, I'll have to console myself with that Spec C I'm off to see on tuesday

As Chris says, last thursday every month, but the nice weather has started taking effect and we already have planned a S. Yorks run, NBO, a possible Whitby run with the EvoNet peeps, the Yorkshire Dales beckons and we're in the planning stage for WRC GB. We must get to grips on the Nurburgring trip, oh and there's our 2nd Rallydrive trackday in October Add all these to the Isle of Man, LeMans, Stelvio and a long weekend in Scotland (news to everyone ) and you can see we're gonna cost you lots of money

My nuts are now once again unlockable.

I might try and squeeze a meet in Difficult during the week with work though.

What is Steve getting next or has he already got it?

How you doing Damian? Expected to bump in to you last Sunday doing the drinking rounds..............

No mate still have the other car. I wanted this one last year but Steve said he was unlikely to sell so when it came up just had to have it. Trouble is now I need to get rid of mine so will post it on here first (no chance selling it probably) or ebay/ trader.

Sods law people round here have pestered me to sell it for ages but when it comes up no one wants to know.

I'll bob to one of these meets with you one week if you give me a shout.......

Harry/ Corradoboy would love to join you. Went on a meet a while ago (Northern Run 8 or similar) and felt a bit like a spare part then a few idiots spoilt it by driving like nutters. Not saying you are all like that of course onder2: but left a sour taste. Was thankful to get home in one piece to be honest.

Did the NBO so will have to join you now that I have something a little different. Think I'll join your convoy...............

Rob, although we undoubtably have some nutters within the WYIOC group, the driving on our outings is usually exemplary. Obey limits in towns & villages and courtesy to other road users (even when they're being tw@ts ). Of course, when we get out beyond civilisation we like to stretch our legs a little, but no-one wants to go home with a dented car or body. Safety must always come 1st, so we try to disuade the sort of person whom sees every road as a special stage and every road user (including friends) as another challenger.

Hope you choose to join us
