Is the Alpine CDA 7998R a UK unit or an import? Does it have any warranty? was this bought from Ebay?

Its uk version that I bought when they first came out a couple of years ago so there is no alpine warrenty left on it. Its in full working order with remote, box and manual etc.

Yep. The headunit has no built in amp so you have to run all speakers off external amplifiers. It was the top of the range alpine unit so i think it was assumed you would be using amps
