Default M5....fantastic

lolol....cracking car...seriously this is one unbelievable motor.

Then again I would say this...i've got virtually exactly the same car..(same year, colour, etc) Sitting on the drive next to my scoob and my ariel atom.

Whoever buys this will have themselves a genuine 911 eater..my M5 out paces, out handles my Scooby all day long.

Sorry to high jack the thread...just my tuppence worth.

Hi,

Thanks for the posts guys, I am not sure about the VANOS o-rings and to be honest am not that worried. The car has full BMW main dealer history so I think all recalls will have been covered and it is under the very very extensive extended warranty if anything goes wrong, including VANOS.

As for oil, about a litre of TWS every 1,000 miles which is perfectly normal - it is a racing engine after all, check out other threads about M5's.

ta,
Matt
