Pioneer touch screen sat nav + dvd player with surround sound + tv + cd multiplay
#1
Pioneer touch screen sat nav + dvd player with surround sound + tv + cd multiplay
recently previous top of the range 7inch widescreen retractable din size head unit.
plays region 2 dvd film, cds, mp3 recorded cds, has an rds radio, has dolby digital and dts surround sound, has time alignment for speakers, and built in control of active subs plus an eq. supplied with microphone for auto self set up.
be warned, this unit though it may look like it is all one box, has a small hideaway unit which must be connected to the display, though the cables allow it to be boot mounted.
can be bought new for £1500 if you are lucky. Brand new condition still (apart from wires which have been connected.
can be seen here for feature list of newly released replacement model, to which it looks identical.
£750
TV box and 4 way diversity aerial for above (currently hidden above my roof liner)
£150
12 disc multiplay for the above, looks like this but is slightly older model.
£80
Avic 800 dvd sat navigation for the above model, uses touch screen to control features. Does not play other dvds, apparently the best navigation on the market. Comes with required cable for connection to above head unit (CD-RGB600), remote control (not needed) and latest dvd disc of whole of europe.
£500
Would love to sell together but will split. pm if interested, still in car but will remove when sold, can send pics of it working.
alternatively £1250 the lot, no offers.
dvd, cd, mp3, tv sat, nav, dolby digital, dts, time alignment and eq, all operated by a 7inch widescreen retractable touchscreen panel with removable front panel.
I need to explain the difference between this and the AVIC X1 so that people can appreciate the difference.
The X1 is a compromise one off piece of kit that puts a lot of features in one box, though it still has a remote box to house electronics. The X1 is around £1100 and gives you sat nav and touch screen, the avh7500 (model 1 or 2) is still £1500 alone, without sat nav, the additional sat nav hardware anmd software is a further £800 new.
The AVIC X1 does not give you the features of this unit such as auto time alignment, auto eq (has a mic which sets up the sound for you), as well as full on 5.1 surround sound. This is in the form of dolby digital or dts surround.
In terms of proper in car entertainment, for those looking for a high end set up, this system is the top set up available, even though individually at full retail the X1 is about £50 more expensive than the avh7500dvd, but feature for feature the equipment level for the price is far higher with the above set up.
