Breaking MY96 UK turbo.
A sad day for me.
My good lady has pranged my Impreza, and the insurance are pretty much sure to write it off. So there is a damn good chance I'll be breaking my MY96 UK turbo (deep highland green with 90k miles on it). It's had reasonably heavy front impact. Repair cost is estimated at £4k by the insurance co, but it's not impossible to do. Engine still runs nicely, but will need a PAS pump pulley and cam covers. (I broke them after the accident. Doh!)
All-in-all, it's not been a good week for me. But I suppose it can only get better... (He says hopefully)
Standard parts that are still good include:
I think you get the idea... If you ask, there's a good chance I'll have it.
Also, I'm possibly selling a Toad AI606 alarm - boxed with blank cat1 certificate, although this may go in the Griffith next month.
There's a few mods (some were fitted, some weren't) listed here:
As soon as I get the go-ahead from the insurance, I'll start stripping the car and sending out parts. No reasonable offer will be refused, as long as you're quick about it! I can't store the car for too long.
If the bits you want are small, then I can get them in the post quickly. I'd prefer collection for the larger items, but will ship stuff at cost if need be. I'm in the South East.
Don't PM me, as my box is permanantly full. I will read the thread and try to answer emails (assuming Mozilla doesn't eat them ) as quickly as I can.
Drive safely everyone!

Standard parts that are still good include:
- LH front wing in primer (never fitted)
- All 4 doors with glass, motors etc.
- boot lid
- mid level rear wing
- engine (still runs and always ran on decent fuel and Silkolene oil)
- gearbox
- rear diff
- driveshafts etc...
- springs and shocks - new at about 80k miles with STI top mounts.
- Steering rack
- MY97/98 interior including door cards (black bucket seats with grey edges)
- black kick trim all round to match interior (& the grey stuff is in the cupboard)
- MAF sensor + most other sensors
- Rear lights
- Side skirts
- Speedo etc with LEDs in it for knocklink
- OZ SuperTourismo 17" alloys with Toyo Proxy T1-S tyres (4 to 5mm tread left, so still good)
- ABS sensors
- Space saver spare...

- 3 bar MAP sensor (from MY99) (& ScoobyECU chip set up to work with it if required)
- MY99 coolant header tank and adaptor for MY93 to MY96 manifold

- STi v5 RA anti-roll bars
- 4 pot calipers with black diamond discs
- braded brake hoses
- FSE fuel pressure reg
- Walbro 255 l/hr pump
- Some of MEF's very nice fuel rails
- JUN style front lip spoiler

Hi mate,
Are the side skirts colour coded? If yes and you are 307 DGM then let me know a price. Also I would be very interested in your door cards if you would split them from the interior.
Cheers
Ritchie.

I'll email (or PM) prices out when I get home tonight. I have the list drawn up now.
The insurance co. is dragging its feet a bit, so it may be a bit quiet for a couple of days.

The insurance co decided on Friday to write the car off as a catagory D. This means I can officially buy it back and sell the bits. Nothing has been sold so far, apart from a ScoobyECU chip I had as a spare.
I've had a long weekend away, so sorry for not moving quickly.
I have made a spreadsheet of who wants what (and who asked when) and emails/pm's etc will be sent out in the next day or so. I will also stick up some price info on the thread.
Answers to some questions...
The speedo is electronic - so no cables.
I have the rear dampers. (either complete assembly with springs and top mounts, or separately) I'd like £50+p&p w/o springs etc or £75+p&p complete.
I'll look at postage to far-flung parts of the world during the week!
Other bits I've got:
I have a set of 3 Autometer Phantom gauges. (Electrical oil temp & pressure + mechanical boost) all in good working condition. I'd like £75 + p&p.
I also have a complete set of suspension struts for an Sti v5 RA. (38k miles on them approx, but including NEW top mounts.) I'd like £350 for these.
