As stated above the car is an 01 !
The mileage is 63,000 however this is not particularly relevant as most of the important parts have been replaced !

Why does a 2.5 with Motec M800 only make a handfull of horses / ftlb more than a sorted TEK3 Blobeye STI ?

Seems awefull low for that kind of investment ?

To be honest Bhp is only half the story !
You need to drive a 2.5 litre car & you will realise what a huge difference the engine size makes !

Fulham if you have a rolling road printout of the car post it up then get a 330bhp STI Tek3 rolling road somewhere in the Projects or General section and compare the two. You will see the difference in lag etc then.

Theres my rolling road print out !
I am struggling to find a print out of TSLs 330
Ideally it would be good to compare one from a session at PE or we get into the differing rolling roads arguement again which I dont want to entertain !

Again you are missing the whole point of a 2.5 upgrade its much more than power ! The car is also much more driveable ! I can spend most of the week off boost but still have a very drivable car ! but when I want the power its there & no big bang of power just smooth power all the way through !

I think you are confusing my car with one of the ones running a larger GT30 turbo ! Yes they will have more top end power but the power delivery is totally different !

For example the current T25 is running similar power to mine & yet the maagazines rave about it ? Why not because the TSL or similar mapped car is as good !

Look at the scale along the bottom of the Dynopack and the 2.0 doesn't start spooling until early 3000rpm. Where as yours is getting simular spool up around 1500rpm. Look at the scales.

I agree there is a huge improvement accross the whole graph !
the 2.5 makes a huge difference !

Sorry mate I thought you were trying to suggest that the 2.0l was going to be better than a 2.5l

anyone who has driven a 2.5 impreza wont want a 2.0l one again !

Before people dismiss this car, it must be pointed out the bodywork is perfect!

Secondly, having owned a highly modified 2.0l, I would have traded it all for this car!

The power delivery is incredible, very refined and smooth, but most importantly incredibly quick! The torque delivery is unlike any 2.0l I've been in, and it hasn't been mapped for big BHP, as a ‘sensible’ sized turbo has been chosen, so there is minimal lag from the turbo. It's a balance of driveability, torque, acceleration, speed and braking!!

No expense has been spared on this car, someone is going to get a bargain!

Just had the 2.5 myself and running it in. Not using the turbo much yet and it is soo much better already. I was sceptical how much better it could be, but agree, wouldn't go back to a 2.0l.

Good luck with the sale, i know on the few occasions i've seen it at the surrey meets its looked very tidy.

I can vouch for this car. Paul has maintained it regardless of cost and it really is as spotless as it seems!
