Well, the gearbox in question is what would appear to be an STI type 'R' gearbox, but, is has had a 3.9 front diff fitted, and a transfer box from a new age WRX, this means that it gives roughly 110mph in fourth at 7k revs, and fifth is obviously taller, but not by an awful lot, it would appear to be roughly 130 at 7k.
This box would be ideal for someone who wants to use their Uk car for the likes of hill-climbing, or sprints maybe, and who needs the strength of an STI gear set, there is no need to change the rear diff to get this gearing, it all comes as a result of the box.
It's in my car at the moment, so speed to revs in any gear can be clarified at the moment, but when i get a chance, i'll try to kill myself once again in order to refit my old UK box til i sort out something else.....
PM me for a price/offers, or mail to impreza_dood@yahoo.co.uk

Ron the ratio for 4th sounds the same as an STI 5,6 and P1 with 4.44:1 diffs, 7,000rpm = 111.3 mph but 5th should be 146.5 mph at 7,000rpm.
Why don't you just get a taller 5th gear fitted like some of the type R owners for better cruising. Gearing would be good for a 300 - 350 bhp Scooby and if it's a type R box it should be have a stronger group N gearset fitted

This is an excellent choice for anyone with a high spec 2.0 engine. The box also has a steel selector fork for 3rd/4th gear due to it's Type R origins.
It will drop straight into a UK car, will work with all the existing rear diff, prop and front shafts. With a PPG build 5speed costing around £2500 including the box, this would be a good buy at a fraction of that price.
