Right then peeps, having had a little whim last year to buy a car as a 'project' I have finally realised that I just don't have the time to do it and thus want to get shot of the above car which is filling the garage up.
Car is a JDM Bugeye WRX in white with style pack fitted (side and rear skirts, wing mirror covers etc). It also has newage gold STI rims fitted. It has only done 17,000kms and is not yet registered in the UK so it will need an SVA once repaired (however that also means it is not listed on the UK HPI register)
I was in excellent pre accident condition but had a major coming together with a telegraph pole or a tree in Japan. It has been hit hard but there is no damage from the windscreen back, all door gaps are perfect, the roof in untouched etc. One front chassis leg and inner wing is knackered (O/S) and the other would straighten OK. The engine and box have moved back slightly and the gearbox bellhousing in cracked, also one of the engine pulleys is smashed and so I suspect a little bit of valve interference has taken place !!
However all is not lost as I have sourced 90% of the parts needed to repair, it just needs someone with a lot of time and enthusiasm to get it finished.
The parts I have to go with it include:
JDM 5 speed box (10,000 kms)
Type UK engine (12,000 miles) - plan was to use the JDM heads with this engine
Complete front end from strut tops forward
Front sub frame
Front Crossmember (not needed but bought 'just in case')
Rad and fans
Air con rad and pipework
Steering wheel and airbag with module
Seatbelts with pre-tensioner module
Headlights
Front bumper and splitter (in WR blue !!)
Bonnet Scoop
Airbox and ducting
Under tray
Interior carpets
Various Interior trim bits (as required)
All that I think is needed to finish (other than time) is a bonnet and offside front wing, a new windscreen, and a front drivehaft and TCA plus whatever little trim bits I don't yet know are busted.
Please note this is not really a DIY repair, you need to know what you are doing and have access to a body jig to pull the front chassis leg straight and ensure the replacement front is fitted correctly.
Once that has been done though you should be well away.
Serious offers for the whole lot please - looking at around £4000 ideally (cash, p/ex or straight swap for something interesting considered)
I don't really want to split it at the moment as if someone does want to repair it they would need all the stuff I have anyway.
PM me for further details or to view.
Thanks
Nick

these shells are a whole lot stronger than a classic, and can take loads of stress. i know of two hard damaged / repaired bugeye's that drive as new, this is a cheap hpi clear car.
