Default Mint - 295 bhp - UK Impreza

***PRICE NOW REDUCED TO £8,000 NO OFFERS***

This car has been maticulously maintained with a money no object attitude with the car having circa £12,000 spent on it in my 3 years of ownership. Its a long story so I will list all points in order to detail the cars history.

Car was purchased in April 2001 with 65,000 miles on the clock and 3 previous owners. Currently 97,900 mls

After 7 months of ownership the car suffered from 'piston slap' resulting in a £3,500 engine rebuild. Typical just one month out of warranty!
Work was carried out by AWD Motorsport in Perth ( www.awdmotorsport.co.uk )
During rebuild the existing turbo was replaced with a VF24 STi 5 turbo
Along with rebuild the following parts were added :-

K&N 57i induction kit (air filter)
Stainless steel Scoobysport downpipe
Dawes Device (manual boost controller)
Eibach 35mm uprated lowering springs
Magnecor HT leads
Turbo XS dump valve
Shortshift gear lever
After the succesful engine rebuild and running in period it produced 265bhp on the rolling road at Star Performance.

Shortly after this in the search for more power the following parts were fitted again by AWD Motorsport:-

FSE fuel regulator
Walbro 255l/h uprated fuel pump
Piggy back ECU
Boost increased to 1.2 Bar
After the engine work was completed and I was happy with the way the car felt I focused on the bodywork.

This entailed a roundtrip of 800 miles to Scoobyclinic(www.scoobyclinic.co.uk ) to undergo major cosmetic work to have the car looking like a MY00 facelifted impreza. The work included:-

STi red/clear rear lights
Full car respray at a cost of £2,800
MY99 front headlights
MY99 Boot spoiler
MY99 Front bumper and grille
MY99 STi fog light covers
MY99 steering wheel
Crystal side lights
P1 replica front lip
STi carbon fibre front strut brace
MY99 front and side crystal indicators
Red STi badge (on grille)
Arches rolled.stiched to take 19" alloy wheels
Set of 4 19" OZ superleggras / repainted in white, with 215.35.19 toyo proxes ts
Defi gauges incl Boost, oil temperature and oil pressure fitted in custom dash pod
Defi boost controller situated in cup holder location on dash
Blitz NUR spec R exhaust system (£560 new) comes with bung
Colour coded interior parts (as in photos)
Brembo 355mm brake upgrade incl callipers, disks, pads and braided brake lines costing £1100

After cosmetic work was finished the car was put back on the rolling road at Star performance at an organised meet and produced with the 19" wheels on 295bhp with 266 ft/lb torque.

Any questions or if you require more photos, e.g. log book, receipts for work carried out do not hesitate to contact me.

Stunning car,

Dont understand why poeple looking to buy an impreza want an unmodified example when 9 times out of 10 this is exactly what they will be spending a few grand on doing up to look and drive like this.

I know if I was looking to buy I would be saving some money and buy this car, new engine, new paintwork, bodystyling, new wheels, new exhaust etc

Defo a stunning example mate....good luck with the sale.
