For Sale ’96 (MY’97) WRX- £6500.00 ono.
Absolutely gutted but the time has come to sell my pride and joy. (Bloody house prices in this country are ridiculous ) Imported into U.K. in Jan 2002. I am the second (U.K.) owner, bought her Sept 2003.
· 1996 (model Year 1997 (facelift)) Subaru Impreza Turbo WRX – Import.
· “P” Reg.
· 4 Door Saloon.
· Dark Blue Metallic.
· 85,000 miles.
· Clifford Cat 1 Remote Alarm with central locking & window closure.
· Trackstar.
All the usual WRX features incl:
· Climate Control.
· Electric folding mirrors.
· Drinks holder.
· Rear Wash/ Wipe.
· Remote Boot & Filler Cap release.
· Japanese spec engine (280ps (276 BHP)) as standard before Mods below. Slightly less on U.K. Fuel.
Cosmetic Mods:
· JUN Style Front Splitter.
· JUN Style Rear Bumper.
· STI V type Rear Spoiler (From Revolution).
· 18” Alloys (See Handling Mods).
· “Jewel” Front indicators- with “Silvatec” bulbs.

· PIAA Driving Lamps. (Daylight!!!!! Really helps your confidence at night).

· PossumLink ECU- mapped by Bob Rawle for Shell Optimax (original Supplied).
· HKS “Super Racing” Induction Kit.
· Walbro 255 Lt/h Fuel Pump.
· FSE Fuel Pressure Regulator.
· AP Organic clutch + STI Release Bearing
· Scoobysport (Janspeed) De-cat Down Pipe.
· HKS “Hi Power” De-cat Centre Section & Rear Silencer.
· Forge Re-Circulating Dump Valve.
· Full Samco High Pressure hose kit (Blue).
· Uprated Engine monitoring (see Interior Mods).
Interior Mods:
· Twin A- Pillar Pod with Autometer “Phantom” Boost And Oil Temp Gauges With integrated Knocklink Display.
· Triple Centre Pod With Autometer “Phantom” Oil Pressure, Fuel Pressure & Clock.
· Electroluminescent Dial kit (Silver/ Blue).
· Brushed Alloy effect Instrument Cluster Faceplate with integrated Lambdalink (CO2) Display.
· “Subaru” Logo Black/ Grey Seatbelt pads!
· Pioneer KEH-P8900R Stereo & 6 CD Multi-changer.
This Car really is fantastic and goes like a Fighter-jet, she's not been on a rolling roadbut the mod's should see her in the 330- 340 BHP mark, definately at least 320. THIS CAR IS QUICK!The first to see will definitely buy! The interior has been recently valeted & scotch-guarded. Always run on Optimax, it has been serviced religiously every 5000 miles using Castrol RS 10W60 and genuine parts. Loads of receipts. Cambelt done at 62,000 and AP Organic clutch + STI release bearing fitted at 74,000.
NEVER Dragged, trackday'd or raced, and allways warmed/ cooled properly.
It really would be hard to find a better example. The only downsides worth a mention are a couple of small car park dinks along the flanks, the front splitter is a bit stone- chipped and the 2 nearside Alloys have some light scraping (The front caused by a rubbish tyre fitter. grrrr! ). Also, the multi- changer in the boot looks a bit battered, but it works faultlessly, and the centre console panel in the passenger footwell has some minor scratches.
So come and do yourself a favour, and buy one of the best classic shape Impreza’s you will find anywhere. Just try not to smile too broadly as I watch you drive off in it with tears in my eyes!!
