Default Part exchange

I've been offered £9,500 for my 2003 WRX 5 door UK spec, no mods import, 25,000 miles in good condition. I bought for £17000 new so I'm not expecting full UK price, but not sure if it sounds about right. What car mag values it for P/exchange £2000 more. Does it sound a bit of a rip off?

Probably yes. It's just timing sale versus new car arriving, but I think I could get a lot more privately.
