Motorola WA840G 54 Mbps 802.11g Wireless G Access Point

please see further specs and details, pics etc at this link:

http://broadband.motorola.com/consum...0g/default.asp

i have one of these access points and have been very impressed with it so bought another for my parents.... who then bought a dell complete PC package and wireless modem/router this weekend so hence i now have a spare wireless access point.

this point is brand new, boxed and never opened, comes with manufacturers years guarantee. if you want ill burn the updated firmware and pdf instructions onto CD also.

a basic wireless access point on ebuyer is £30 - £35 plus £5 P&P. im selling it to the first person to give me £30 including first class P&P. payment by paypal, cheque, bank transfer etc

please email or PM if you have any further questions

What else would i need to connect my PC to the internet using this product and is it compatable with the psp?

If so then I would like it.

this is just a wireless point, it basically turns your signal from your modem and router into a wireless signal that your laptop etc can connect to. you basically need an ethernet connected modem (via patch cable to the pc, not a USB connected modem) and router or combined modem/router, then you plug this point into one of the ports of the router. as you have broadband already you will have a modem but you would need to check whether its capable of connecting with patch cable or USB only. also if it has a router built in.

similar to the diagram on this link

http://www.homenethelp.com/web/diagr...ireless-ap.asp

im not 100% sure about the psp bit but assuming it has a wireless network card like a laptop then im certain it should work just fine

cool no bother, this is more for if you already have say a wired modem/router (like me!) and just want a cheap and easy way to connect your laptop or games console to a wireless dekstop network and internet
