Can you tell me what the difference is between a UK 6 speed & JDM 6 speed, also would i need anything else to fit a 2004 WRX

JDM has different gear ratios 1-4 I think compared to UK box.

JDM has the same gear ratios 1-4 as a UK box. It is the 5th and 6th gear which is shorter on the JDM compared to a UK.

I was close to buying a JDM because i dont really use 5th & 6th flat out

Cheers for info, as above then, Gears 1 to 4 sameas UK 6 Speed (ok for dragging then), 5th & 6th lower ratio than UK 6 speed.
