MY92-00. As per title they help insulate the inlet manifold from the heat of the cylinder heads creating a cooler inlet charge.

Quick question, do I need to raise the turbo or will the hose have enough play in it already?

well, today was the tuffnol test.
Was at Bruntingthorpe tracking and the inlet manifold was actually cold to touch after each session, superb job done.
I did also use a couple of plastic washers under the coolant header as well but previously the inlet was far too hot to touch even after a beano to the local shops.
and before anyone says it, I was up to 7338 rpm and 1.64 bar from the log
job well done Mr. Davey

Quality items these, shame to put them on the car and hide them from view.

Just ordered some of these for mine - I have to replace the induction hose and thought I'd upgrade to this at the same time while the manifold was off.
Is that paste I see in the photo or did you fit them dry?
How long did it take to do the job?
