I have just bought the same vehicle private sale on a 54 plate, and payed £23,250 and mine has done 15k miles, Fantastic car though, the colour is fantastic and very rare to find, well worth any man or woman's hard earned dosh!!

Just wish I had clocked your add before i parted with my green-backs.

Well some lucky Scooby lover will get a bargin, and i'm sure you won't have to wait long for a sale mate.

Hope the chav pops out well.

Regards D-boy.

Looks like Scoobymax is a jealous sort, and hasn't ever met anyone with too much spare cash, mine is a second car, besides my CB 1300 Honda, and my Merc. You can't take your cash with you after all. Ha, Ha.

Sorry mate, Ive agreed a deal for a brand new X5, I'm getting an ordinary money value in part exchange - but if I go with cash I can get a better discount off the retail price of the Bmer & save more.

I'd much rather sell to a decent private buyer, than see the faceless corporate guys from the glitzy glass fronted showroom make loads of dosh from both sides of the deal.

Cheers, Faitha 2 B.

Default STi type UK for sale.

Thanks for that observation Simo, you seem very suspicious?

I can assure you D-boi isnt a mate, more like a brother....only kidding!

He's obviously just another poor fella thats paid through the nose for his dream mota.... I can prevent that happening to some lucky guy though! Ive taken the hit on this one.

With an opinion like that, makes you out to be Plod (not that I'm saying thats a bad thing you understand)... am I right?

Your absolutely right Aly Mac, my next step would be to ask the dealer. But I resent giving them any more wedge, after all theyve had a hefty piece already.

I do stay in your town and patronise your fine establishment regularly - you make a fine steakpie!!

Have you managed to sell your own scooby yet?

Mate, can I just ask (respectfully) as to why you are getting rid ?

I have two lads, one of them being only 10 weeks old, and the Scoob is fine, having all the room needed, so unless you absolutely need the extra room for some other reason, the Scoob should be fine for your needs.

Not trying to stick my nose in mate, but from experience I know that many people think they need something MASSIVE when the little `uns come along, but the Scooby has a decent boot, and Isofix points etc.

Just my point of view, and well-intentioned, as your Scoob sounds a beaut, and I wouldn`t want you to regret letting it go.

Why not wait, and try it out first......................

Default Kick a bloke when he's down why don't you!!!

I'm blown away with that fantastic price mate, i was impressed with the pic's you sent me.

Your car is better than showroom condition, has it ever been out of the glass bubble you keep it in, that was a crackin' repsol blade sittin next to it , is that per-chance for sale???

I'll be your mate and even your brother if you give me a chance at that 1 !!!

Default STi type UK for sale.

dexter,

Cheers for that advice mate - whilst you are totally right about the boot size etc the other things is I also have 3 labradors, 2 of which are 7 months old with one of those already 7 1/2 stone in weight.

Obviously these fellows are not allowed anywhere near my pride & joy, but would be able to get in its replacement - the BMW X5. With plenty of room for my new pride & joy - the daughter!

Would love to keep the subaru too, but there will be others I'm sure.

Regards, Faitha 2 B.

BTTT - When I see all the lovely examples available on this site for sale I cant understand why anyone would want to pay dealer prices - instead of opting for one of these reasonably priced crackers?!

Not jealous just liked the phrase. It was a compliment to the humorous vein it was written in, but as all too often on SN generally of late where responses have been taken the wrong way.

I should have relaised that as I live in the abject poverty stricken north of England it must be assumed I will never know anyone with enough money to indulge themselves with 2nd/toy cars. Or is it merely an opportunity to brag about how much money you have. It's often the case that those who have to tell people they have loads of money don't actually have as much as those those that don't have the urge to shout about it.

I have to agree with other response on this thread that it's a bargain to be had and probaly well looked after. I also accept although I can afford to buy this car, I can't warrant spending that sort of money at the moment. I don't mind admitting I have limited resources and it needs spending in more important (to me) things.

Oh, and I know plenty of tuppeny millionaires too!
So long
