Talking Reluctant sale of my Subaru Imprezza 2L Turbo (1998) (+ 4k of Mods)

S REG
for only

£7795 With all the mods
Must be Bargin of the week...

Okay guys, …I have been tempted by a M3 Evo coupe (purchased by my Bro who does not like it..) for a real bargain that cannot be overlooked! So as much as I hate to do this please read with interest:

I have owned the car for near 18months, I bought it from a chap who pampered it and threw money at it for no apparent reason! I then took his place and threw some serious amount of money at it in the quest for more power on the Dyno (319Bhp). I have not driven the car too much and use it as a pleasure’mobile on A roads when the weather permits which is at anytime really given the 4 wheel drive action!).

It is religiously hand washed weakly and polished every other week and the paintwork is fantastic. There are the few odd marks here and there but nothing to spoil the show. Dent master took care of a few small dinks from idiots that do not know how to get out of their cars.. there are stone chips on the bumper and lower valance (fitted extra)

The car will come with:
Previous MOT’s from 2001 and a new years MOT ,
6 Months TAX - (Maybe)
Full Subaru Service History up to 54k, and the my own servicing there after every 3k
PAS
4 electric Windows
Electric Sunroof
Alpine MP3 Player –with standard speakers

Extra’s Styling:
Remote locking CAT 1 Alarm / Immobilizer
18in Oz Leggera’s Alloys with Toyo215/35/18 Super Duppa Tyres (only cover 2k)
Locking wheel nuts
Lowered using Eibachs Pro spring kit
MROstyling front splitter (lower),
Mesh fitted to protect the Intercooler from damage.

Performance Modifications:
Apexi PowerFC & ECU mapped at 1.4bar (by the infamous Pavlo)
Apexi STI 5 Induction Kit
Apexi AVCR Boost Controller
NGK, PFR7B Spark Plugs changed 5k ago
Walbro Fuel Pump
TSL Group N Exhaust with 4” tail
3” TSL Down-pipe
Haywood and Scott Uppipe
TD05 FE Turbo – 5k miles ago (recon unit should be good for forever!)
HYBRID front mount Intercooler – it’s BIG
Phase 2 440c injectors
Excedy Oraganic Clutch with a lightened Flywheel

It produces 319bhp on the rollers pulling like a train and yet still drives like a dream. I have many receipts for various work done. I will not state the fuel economy figures but if driven gently it can be generous but as we all know this is nigh on impossible. It is run only on Optimax and has been mapped safely to ensure the engine knocks remain under 10.

The following parts in the picture will NOT be sold with the car unless a reasonable offer is made above the asking price:

Godspeed 4Pot Brembo’s with Brand new 335mm Discs and performance Pads (cost me over £1000

I am looking for offers around the £7795 mark and for a cash sale no P/X offers please as I want the M3 EVO Coupe and start this journey again. This car is not abused, never taken on a track, and I am sure the first serious person to see will buy.

Pistonslap issue resolved by a Subaru dealer at a cost of £2000.

WOW all those mods for £8500

Good luck with the sale Sam but I don't think you'll need any with that price.

Lots of goodies on there Sami so it will be a cost effective buy for someone wanting to start at a decent power level.

Okay...cars on Ebay, Autotrader and various other fourms...

Price is reduced to £8100 ovno for Scoobynet members only, and can be reduced further by taking items off the list above. The car has 70K on the clock.

Reason for the sale in its current condition is like Harvey above said someone culd take this car one step higher or keep it as it is. No expence has been spared on this car...!

Piston Slap issue (common issue with MY98) was resolved by a Subaru dealer at a cost of £2000. Recipts will be provided.

morpheous: Have replied back...will send this pics as soon as i can
