I may also consider a p/x for a performance estate car, such as a bugeye WRX Wagon, MG ZT-T, or Skoda Octavia vRS up to a value or around £9000.

I am after an M3 and I have looked at some sheds. I would be uber interested in this if it wasnt for a couple of things -

1. You are bloody far away.
2. I desperately wanted leather seats.

Will you not budge on the price?

Hi Trem,

well sometimes you have to travel to get the right car
I bought the car from someone in Essex, and drove it back to Scotland ...

I was also looking for a car with leather, ideally Avus blue with silver leather, but I couldn't find one at the right price, and this car had everything else and was reasonably priced, and I really liked the colour ... it's the only e36 M3 I've ever seen in this colour ... most seem to be Avus/Estoril etc.

I'm open to offers on the price, but I won't move much ... it's already a very good price.

TBH, I'm even having second thoughts about selling ... I'm tempted to just keep the car - the wife will kill me

cheers,
Andy

Whereabouts in Jockland are you?

I bought an STi off someone in Essex as well, I was pissed off with that journey and I live in Staffordshire

It's not actually a bad run up to Scotland from here, just depends where you are. Glasgow would be do-able.

Edited to say : I am the highest bidder on this car and I have emailed them asking what price they are after, I will wait and see what they say then we can talk more.

Also edited to say, I thought I had found a bargain on Ebay, avus blue M3 with 69'000 miles and FSH, I emailed him and he said he wanted £4500 for it, I almost ***. So it was all arranged for me to go over to Cardiff tomorrow, but just out of curiousity I did a £10 HPi check on it, heres what it said -

Not a mention of it on his Ebay ad.

Trem,

I'm in Greenock, which is 25 miles west of Glasgow ... just along the M8.

If a car seems too cheap there is probably a reason ... £4,500 for a decent M3 is definitely too cheap

cheers,
Andy
