Default UK MY98 saloon 48K, FSSH going cheap

Just sold my M3 see thread somewhere on the board, and took a good deposit on it, so went out and brought myself a rather nice scoob saloon yesterday. But found out today the guy buying my M3 got a HPI done and its come up as CATD and will likely pull out of the deal.

Therefore with much regret I have the following for sale at a giveaway price for a quick sale as I can't afford both cars. Only problem is the V5 has just been sent off, and won't likely get it back for a couple of weeks.

I can't afford to wait for the V5 to come back before I sell so its up for grabs, and you can get a form from the postoffice that lets you register the car in your name. There is nothing sinister with the sale, just sh*t luck on my behalf.

The car:
Its a year 1999 'S' registration UK saloon in Silver. 100% standard.
The alloys have a few kerb marks but nothing really bad.
Bodywork is superb with no scuffs and very clean tidy paintwork.
Just a few chips on the bonnet but have been touched in.
Interior is like new still,
Front bumper is very clean so suspect its been painted at some stage, but if it has its been done well.
All panels straight with just a few minor parking dents if you look hard enough. Dent majician would pull these out easiliy.
Its covered just 48,000 miles with Full Subaru Service history including the cambelt.
All tyres are good.
MOT runs out end of Novemeber, but have no reason to believe it won't sail through.
Having looked at a lot of scoobs in the past I would describe the car as near mint condition and I am fussy.
The car pulls strong with no knocks or bangs.
I will be the 5th owner - Previous owner 2.5 years.

Being a 98 model, it comes with black plastic door mirrors, handles and skirts, but the latest front bumper.

Now the good bit not that that was any bad bits.
Price for a quick sale and for a limited period £ 6,995. update 25/10/05 PRICE NOW £6500, NOW £6,000 dead. DEFO no offers on this price.

Just to recap this is a UK scoob, with just 48K miles, FSSH, very clean on a year 99, which has the 99 front bumper. i.e latest shape

Just to stress as far as I am aware the scoob is HPI clear, but suggest you check for yourself.

And the price has dropped again to £6500 for a quick sale, and might drop even more as the week goes on.

I can say the Uk Turbo I bought from you is an absolute mint car and has obvuously been looked after to the highest standards, and I can recommend you to anyone for reference.

Cheers M8 really appreciate that, it carries a lot of weight IMHO. p.s Keep watching this post, the saloon may get cheaper yet. Depends what transpires with the M3, and how much grief the missus is going to give me.

Anyone looking to deal to www.wrx.co.uk - Top guy! play it straight with him and he will play straight with you.

pics, this car is clean:

If you in the market for a straight clean UK car with low miles and FSSH for trade in money. Then look no further, this is about 2-3K less than you should be paying for it.

UP - Might have sold the BMW again, so price and sale of this car is for a limited period only. If the BMW goes then I will be keeping the scoob.

This has a Tracker fitted as well, so a UK with tracker = cheap insurance.

Looks a nice clean car, and low mileage, however I feel that its probably worth nearer to £5k than £6k.

I own 97 uk turbo with average mileage, and its not worth much more than £4k.

If your looking for a quick sale you might need to review your asking price

No offence but a UK97 ain't worth much at all, dated front end, piston slap, different interior. The mileage, age and FSSH counts for a lot. Anyone looking for a year 99, with 48K and FSSH would expect to be paying 8-9K in a forecourt and 7-8K private and thats in the current market. Do a national search of Autotrader and this will be confirmed.

So 6K for a genuine almost mint example is a bargain. 5K would just be stuppidity. I could take it to any of my local non subaru garages without buying another car and get 5K easlily. I need to sell, bet get real!
