Hello All,

I am thinking about selling my Accord Type R as a potential business opportunity has arisen to which I could do with freeing up some cash.

Honda Accord Type-R, 2001 Y-reg (so the face lift version)

UK car, 3 owners from new
82k (mainly motorway) with FHSH in the last year it has had two services including a cam-belt change and a new clutch, for a total cost of £1700!!

The last service was the major one so the next service is the cheap one approx £100 which isn't due to 90k


Spec as follow:
212PS post facelift model
Standard car, bar a Custom S/S cat back exhaust believed to be H&S but can not confirm.
Air Con
Honda Type R floormats
ABS, LSD, EW. EM, PAS
Driver & passenger airbags
Factory Alarm & immobiliser
Recaro seats
HID headlamps
Colour: Black (best and fastest colour )
It also has a Nokia Hands free kit

The car also benefits from approx 8 months Honda warranty left so you have the peace of mind.

The car flew through its MOT last Friday so has a 12 month ticket and has approx 5 months tax

Honest Time:

The brake pads and discs will need changing in approx 4k. I will get these done if the full price is paid

There's a slight scuff on the driver side rear corner of the bumper which would not cost much to repair. The car is in good condition but I prefer to be honest, unlike a lot of car that are described as mint!

The alloys could do with freshening but it has never bothered me.

No, dark blue bugeye. I see it parked on your drive up Godmanston, got a mate who lives up there. Nearly bought an Accord type R before the scoob, nice cars.
Do I see it parked next to Lok n Store?

I've just recently sold my Civic VTi-S 5dr (in pirates black too) and got the Scoob. Was going to get an Accord Type R but it wouldn't fit on the drive. Hope you get a good price for the Accord as they are still a very desirable car.
