Don't think there is any interest in these scoobs anymore.
Had an offer of £14,000 from a dealer but that was for an overpriced £25,000 WR1. Might go for this or could always break the car and put the parts on the next scoob...

Very nice motor Bob with an impressive spec. It does seem almost criminal to strip the car & sell off the bits as it's the addition of these that help make the car. I am looking to replace my scoob at the moment , but sadly im a few K short for this one.
All the best

When you say these Scoobs, what Scoobies are you referring to? All classics?
What makes you say it?

you dont have to go as far as scraping shell just strip all the £££ parts and put car back to standard to sell for a reasonable price, you will be suprised how quick the £££ mount up when you start pricing all the mods for sale

David
I have sold MY98. MY2000. P1. now getting ride of Type R. All were advertised on here and other forums but ended up being sold back to dealer. They seem to be at the dealers for a day or two before they are sold again. It seems people will pay the extra £3-4000 to get it from a dealer rather than going private.

Once I have removed the extras there will be nothing left of the car almost all the car has been upgraded. All the old parts were binned I just did not want the hassle of trying to sale the old parts.

Thumbs up

I agree with Luan Pra bang - don't bother advertising on the forums they are a waste of time for selling a car! Quite good for bits and bobs but not for selling cars! Put it in Autotrader and other mags of that type!

I would remove all the stickers and get it all polished up though! There is a VERY VERY limited market for cars with stickers! And that market usually can't afford a car like this!

Guaranteed that is the first thing any dealer will do - ditch the stickers, give it a polish and slap £3000 on the price!!

I have to disagree with you there...

I have bought my original P1 and my new STi 5 RA WRC Limited off here - I don't think cars will sell quickly (as I know both the ones I bought were advertised for a good few months each) but a buyer will come along eventually.

Cheers

i'd say definitely ditch the stickers and get it looking standard, not everyones thing stickered up and i'd say theres a limited market for stickered up cars, top spec car though but i do think it looks better on the bottom pic without any stickers
