I'm thinkin of selling my '98 Impreza STI4 Type R. I'm the second owner, the first of which imported the car brand new in July 1998. The car is on a R plate and has covered 61,000 miles and has a full service history. I have always run it on Optimax and NF Race and I believe the previous owner was much the same insisting on using octane booster with every tank full.
The car has just come back from a small service at Glenburgie Subaru. The last service it had a timing belt change and the AP Racing front brakes were stripped down and rebuilt along with new discs and pads.
The car is standard type R spec with a few mods:
Engine wise: GGR remapped ECU, Magnex d/pipe, centre section and Blitz Nur Spec b/box, K&N induction kit, Blitz turbo timer
Suspension: Standard STI dampers with GGR lowering springs
Wheels: at the moment it has a set of 18" Kahn RS-R alloys with Toyo T1-S tyres on it. Although I also have a set of 17" Prodrive OZ P1-WRC alloys with Goodyear Eagle F1's.
Brakes: fronts are AP Racing 330mm 4 pot - as mentioned earlier have recently been stripped down with new seals in the calipers and new discs and pads. Rears are standard.
Bodywork: Morrette twin headlight conversion, clear idicators etc, STI5 front bumper and grille, STI mudflaps, PIAA driving lamps
Interior: GGR gauges (boost, voltage and oil pressure), STI pedals and mats, Pioneer headunit and 6 disc changer.
The car was featured back in Jan/Feb '01 in Japanese Performance magazine by its previous owner.
I'm not sure how to post pics so see the pistonheads ad....

I can be contacted on 07793 215016 if anyone has any questions (please leave a message if I am unavailable as I work offshore/abroad).
Cheers
Sean

Hi,
Don't take this the wrong way, but to be honest, it is just to much money. There are many other vehicles of this calibre & above for a lot less & there not moving either![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)

No offence taken Dean.
The way I was looking at it was that it was difficult juding what a fair price was and the diffence between being too expensive and giving it away. You can only go by what similar cars are going by on Autotrader and they range from £8.5k to £12k...
Suppose its not a good time of the year to be selling either..
