Unhappy WAGGON WRX SA ...WITH BOX PROBLEMS

Hi my baby is for sale as i cant get a autobox for her on the cheap and lack of funds means i cant fix it ......my94 m reg mica black waggon...totally standard bar magnex decat centre pipe and 6x4 oval back box (5weeks old ) with guarentee...been in uk for a year 100,000 kmh and still is limited too 112mph...never been past 70 mph as we have our 15month old son with us all the time...paid 3995 for it about 2 months ago...asda ding in drivers side wing and looks like layers of car wax on the drivers rear quater...(cant tell untill upclose) my mobile number is....07791977829 ..or mail me for pics @ lauraswan1@hotmail.com. david at api has 1 for 500 quid but i simply cant afford it with xmas and all...plus i have just finished my last contract of the year and work is sparce.....

may also swap.......any thing sensible though and no crwp worth 500 quid..

I didnt realise that the SA was available with an automatic gearbox? (the reason being that the SA was an 'entry-level' model and the options were all deleted to lower the cost). Id suggest fitting a normal five speed transmission as itll increase the value of the car somewhat.

HI simon the sa model had the automatic transmission fitted after production...it only hasnt got the big spoiler and sideskirts.....search for impreza sa on msn......this has everything spec wise my jdm my95 model had.....sa means sport automatic.....so my import dealer vine place said.......

Im quite familiar with the Type-SA as I import cars from Japan myself*. The model was introduced with a reduced spec to provide an entry level model ('Wagons outsell Saloons over 2:1 in the domestic market).

SA doesnt mean Sports Automatic Im afraid; they made that up.

I would still suggest sourcing a 5MT and the necessary pedal box etc. because automatic GF8s are virtually worthless and difficult to sell (even compared to other 'Wagons!); a manual transmission will at least help in this regard and it may be marginally cheaper too...
