Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI Sorrento Green
A very reluctant sale,with loads of history from new.
K reg 205 GTI which I have owned for approx 10 months and used as daily transport to and from work,I believe to be a bit special but I am a bit biased.Car has 113000 on clock but the following additional works carried out.
1/At 95,000 approx. Full engine steam clean and re-build by previous owner after cam-belt failed,included new crankshaft,all bearings,connecting rods,piston liners,up rated oil pump,new up rated clutch,new valves and timing belt and performance cam shaft. All work carried out by Pug Specialist and receipt for £1600 and details.
Set up to run without Cat with standard cat free exhaust system.
2/Car has up rated suspension. Bilstein rear shocks,Spax adjustable fronts and Sparco front strut brace. All installed by Skip Brown Cars with receipt,very slightly lowered with rear set to match front height but still rides well. ( I am 39 and find it ok). Superb cornering esp. in dry.
2/Quickshift fitted by Skip Brown.
3/Brakes overhauled valves cleaned out on rear and braided hoses installed all round. Otherwise standard brakes.
4/K+N Induction kit
I have used the car daily,changed the oil every 3000 miles with filter and recently changed plugs and leads,new eagle F1 s on front and Toyos on rear.
Selling due to fact that I cannot really justify number of cars we have got at the moment.
Car does not have PAS which I soon got used to, feed back through wheel sis superb,I also have some Speedline alloys 5 no. which I got inorder to re-furb but never got round to it.
Original alloys on car very good any way.
No dents or dings or max power bits.

Bad bits, slight rust starting around rear window, some laquer missing on rear roof spoiler of rear.
£2200 with spare wheels and tyres and original brochure.

Could you send me some decent pics of the body, engine, interior etc.
Any blue smoke on idle/whilst running?
Were the stem seals done when the engine was rebuilt?
Whats the rear beam condition?
Finally, any rust under the bonnet, particularly inner wings and chassis legs?
Oh and where are you based?

This isn't a limited edition model. It's just a normal sorrento green model.
The limited edition models were made in 1990 ONLY had FULL leather and PAS, 600 miami blue ones and 600 sorento green.
