Default 6 speed jdm dccd box prop and rear diff

i have forsale my 6 speed jap spec dccd box and 3.9 rear diff, this comes with the prop to fit to a classic shape impreza (these came out of my ra),l have receipts from APi for nearly £3400 in march for the box (dccd)and diff, they have done about 4000 miles since then and i have experienced absolutely no problems at all,i am after offers around £2500 for the lot,not forgetting that this has a dccd centre diff and the matched rear diff,i would take a p/x for a 6 speed uk box in excellent condition plus £1000.l have seen non dccd boxes going for £1700-1800 on here so with the extras feel the price is somewhere near, though i'm sure others will tell me what its really worth
cheers steve

You should have sold it in the car! Whats up, doesn't it fit a Legacy?

Hi mark how are you hope you had a good new year??
knuckster said he saw you at croft and had a good crack about your mitsi, you must be joking if you thought it woud go in the car i got down to £4000 and still nothing so decided i would make more to break it and keep the engine and box for the legacy.
lt isn't that it won't fit its just i don't really have a need for the dccd and there are things i could be buying now that are more important so a uk 6 speed would suit me at present if i can get a p/x,its on the bay of e now so i will see how it goes on there..........

If you are going to make that Legacy into a half decent stage car you will need a DCCD! There are plenty of people we have talked to that aren't happy that they can't handbrake the car like we can. Free BTTT

Thought I'd asked this before, but does it have the dccd loom etc for the box?
This is a gear transmission especially with the dccd loom and supplied by API with a stratospheric high reputation.

Cheers for the question bud,it has the wiring connection in the gearbox but no loom or ecu for the car(it is only the box -fitted with dccd center diff-, prop and rear diff), so would be best suited to fitting in an impreza already equiped with dccd,or the ecu and switch sourcing from an sti/ra.l agree APi have an excellent reputation and the receipts i have clearly show that good money was paid for these items,
cheers steve

Tempted now my 20g is going on my 2.5. UK classic with UK 5 speed. Which will blow eventually, but would sooner see how long it will lasts before I have the expense.

Its not just the buying of the box, It would be new uprated clutch and fitting everything for me as well.

But will keep watching, when or if you ever drop to £1500 it might leave me enough to get it fitted and fit a clutch for around the 2K mark.

Steve,

If my Shogun sells, I could be making you an offer!
Unless you fancy a straight swap!

Cheers,
Andy
