I have for sale a pair of version 6 STI heads. They are genuine STI heads with under-bucket shims and have only covered 34,000 KILOMETERS. They are from an engine that threw a con-rod. The Combustion Chambers have no damage from piston contact and none of the bearing surfaces have scoring from debris.
HOWEVER - When the LeftHand exhaust cam pulley was undone an impact gun was mis-used and so the part of the cam that provides longitudinal positioning in the cylinder head was damaged. The cam is perfect in any other way and can I believe be repaired, or a new camshaft is £156 from Subaru.
If you leave me your email address I can send you any picyures you require.
I am open to offers on these, or would possibly swap them for some shock absorbers (WHY?).
Thanks - Pete - 07900 554443
