Default Momo Sti 7 Steering Wheel Now £100 o.n.o Inc Postage

Now £100 o.n.o Inc Postage

I have for sale a Momo steering wheel complete with airbag unit for sale, It was out of an STi7 from what I can remember which had only covered about 7k so the wheel is is perfect condition. I presume as a whole unit you'd be looking at £400 + from the dealer.

I never got round to fitting it into my classic which is now up for sale so I am selling this seperate.

Now £100 o.n.o Inc Postage

you can collect from melton mowbray le13 postcode. I can take cash or cheque, cheques would need to clear 1st or paypal which would be easiest.

email me at zynexiatech@gmail.com for any more info

I think you'll find you're wrong there!!
It IS out of an STi7 as you can tell by the red stitching around the edge of the wheel. The WRX (01/02 cars) never had the red stitching but had the same design wheel.
The wheel you're thinking of with the grey parts is in fact from an STi8!

Good luck with the sale of the wheel anyway

Going on the car it was removed from when I bought it, it was a JDM Sti7. I also thought its the STi8s that had the grey/silver centres not the Sti7s but cheers for the replies.

Right just to final this one here is a pick of an STi7 interior, see the wheel is the same with the red stiching so its from an STI7.

Is this a smaller diameter than the late classic steering wheel?

With regards to the diameter I am not sure as I dont have a late classic only the early classic with the horrible wheel, ill measure it

roughly with a tape measure looks like its around 38.5cm to 39cm

Thumbs up

Just to ensure the safety side of things are covered, this unit should only go on a newage car, bugeye or later. Do not buy this for a classic, as the airbag was not designed to perform optimally on that car.

Airbags are designed to fit around a specific car's safety system. (starts from bumper, through longitudinals, through the firewall, up the column and finally to the wheel and bag). Pre 2001 cars are very different to post 2001 cars, its possible to increase injury levels if the wrong one is fitted.

Just a friendly piece of advice to stay safe!
Good luck with the sale!

Thanks Stuart, I knew there must be a reason why everyone wasn't swapping.

If I had ever fitted it I wasnt going to connect the airbag anyway for this reason alone. Its then no different to fitting an aftermarket wheel it just looks more factory fit and upto date.

Best thing is to not crash your car in the 1st place.
