Default QuickSale of STI (05) Rear wing

This is for anyone in the Yorkshire area (unless you want to travel)

If you have a WRX 55 Plate and want a STI rear wing for £100 (you have to pay the dealer to swap too, 1 hour maybe £70?)

What i need is a 'perfect' WRX 55 Plate Boot (and low spoiler), what you will get is a 'perfect' brand new STI Boot and spoiler

I need this to happen this week (thursday to saturday), otherwise a dealer will have my wing for 'free' and we cant have that can we!

If you have a WRX with the 'Prodrive WR Sport wing' on the you can have the STI wing and boot for £50

If you have an 05 Plate i would consider but the price would be £150 + fitting (or £100 if WR Sport wing too)

Anyone interested, please post here or pm for any more details

Colour has to be WR Blue

I was looking for someone to swap their STI rear wing for a while.
Just fitted a genuine STI spoiler today, after drilling holes into bootlid.
Wish I should have waited bit long...

My thread http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=488356

Goodluck.

Thats a pity raj, for my benefit (to show how much of a bargain it is), how much did it cost you to do all together?.

I bought STI8 Spoiler taken out from a 53 reg for £400. It was painted in black mica and my car color is obsedian black. Have fitted myself without respraying. Might respray it to obsedian black in future.
And remember that I had to drill four extra holes(hated while doing it) to the boot lid.

Now bootlid is so heavy and I might have to order additional torsion bar to open the lid which is around £130 from dealer!

As a tip, you really don't need to pay the dealer £70 to swap over a bootlid. Four bolts, one electrical clip for the brake light and the bootlock just clips out. You could do the whole lot with a single socket and 20 minutes max. The only tricky bit is if you are also swapping over the tension springs, as they are a bugger and it may be worth getting the dealer to do that, but agree a fixed price beforehand so's if it takes them longer it doesn't cost you more

I suppose this is in a way still available till friday, but you would have to persuade my dealer to now swap a total of 3 boots around and the asociated costs.

You are right. I took less than 1 hour to fix it myself including drilling four extra holes!

Is it difficult to fit the torsion bar myself?
