I just sold an STI4 through the auto trader website. Tried on here first and did get some initial interest but this waned and I ended up with people who just wanted one for bargain crazy prices. I'm not knocking anyone for trying to get a bargain, just saying you may struggle to find people on here who are looking for anything else.

It turned out to be a trader who bought my old car and he paid a lot more than the highest offer I had received here if that's anything to go by. Also had 3 other people from various parts of the country wanting to view the car if the first guy never bought it.

I don't think you'll get what you're asking, it's a lot more than the guy said he was going to put my old one on the forecourt for.

There may be some people on here who are prepared to pay a reasonable price but the problem seems to be that one car gets advertised for 5k because the guy wants an instant sale and everyone then thinks that's the going rate. Also, because you may have been trying to sell it for a month or so people assume you are desperate to get rid so think they can get it off you for a lot less than the asking price.
