Default Testing water UK2.5 circa 380/380 poss for sale

Toying with the idea of changing now that the car is very sweet indeed.

Its a UK 1998 Scoob with a 2.5STI strengthed bottom end by scoobyclinic about 7K ago, receipts to prove.

Its covered 76K miles with FSH but 7K on the new engine.

Just had a TD05/06 20g turbo fitted
740cc injectors
Apexi power FC having recently been mapped by the Jollygreenmonster.
New PFF7's with toyo T1S rubber
Externally it has all the right bolt on bits to make it look superb. Rather than list you can see for yourself in the pics.
The car has not been put on the rollers yet, but its fast - very fast.
I estimate around the 380/380 mark at 1.3 ish bar boost
Obilgatory full decat including downpipe.
Lowered springs and type RA shocks.
Condition of car is very good.
TSL 6 pot front break upgrade.
Stock 5 speed box and uprated clutch, but holding up well.

Price with all mods and no I am not looking to sell any bits. £ 11,500

I could do a far more comprehehensive advert, but you get the general idea.

Cheers - I never was that artistic, Photobucket messing about as well, hence edited the pictures about 4 times now to hide the plate.

Thanks for the s-h-i-t stirriing PM shaggy1973, and why should I 'forget it' as you mentioned in your 2nd PM.
I already knew that Rob bought the car at <7K back in November.

I'm not sure what you were trying to achieve by PM'ing a link to the car at it's previous sale price, to a person you 'thought' had bought .

Now if the car had been declared a right-off or had very dodgey history I would of understood. But clearly you have a problem with the price that Rob originally picked the car up at.

FYI, I was the one that told him to ditch the Motec as it was overkill. Then arranged for an Apexi to get fitted an mapped. At least the Apexi has a Knock warning unlike the complex Motec.

Just because someone picks up a bargain don't mean he has to pass it on at a bargain price.

You don't see motor traders picking up cars at auction, tidy them up, get them running as they should and then sell em' to jo public at the same price now do you......

O.K the car was running OK at 1 bar. But a 2.5STi running on 380's is clearly not that wise as they were running 98% IDC.

He's spent alot of hours getting this car up to the level of performance a 2.5STi short engine deserves.

And FYI he ain't selling it now and is in fact going up to PE to spend yet more money on it.
