Is it any good? false alarms a lot? have you had cameras that it didnt go off for?
how much is the subscription for updates?

Reason for sale - Bought a Sat Nav unit 2 weeks ago so no longer required. Had this for 20 months, bought it from a seller at JAE 2004

False alarms a lot - No. Its GPS, so only goes off when near a speed camera location.

Cameras it didn't go off for - No, but I always download updates every 4-6 weeks

Subscription is £4.95 per month

Update via a Com port lead (USB lead optional, I bought an adaptor from Maplins which cost £20 to run via USB thru the COm port lead)

I've thought about it and I think I'll leave it. I don't really need a detector, but I would like one. Think I'd rather pay the extra and have a road angel if I bother to get one.

Not really. Its for sale on 4 other car forums, and advertised internally on the Intranet where I work (circa 7,000 employees) so in no rush to give it away. £100 is a pretty fair price already
