The Good Bits...
This car is this price to sell quickly, and the reason for sale is genuine. I have to move so no longer have any time to spend on the car or any space to keep her. She is MOT'd Until 23rd March, Taxed Until the end of April. Although not rolling roaded, I believe the BHP to be in the early 200s. (I'm told 230 due to the engine mods, but not so sure!!) But those of you, like myself, who have had/have a normal 8v, will know just how much fun this car really is!!!
There is an extensive file full of history, old MOTs, Tax Discs...Receipts for ££££s including ONE from Jabbasprot for over £1800!!!!!
The Bad Bits...
Unless you are using the car as a donor for the engine etc etc, she will need a new wing and front wheel arch. While parked outside someone ran their trailer allong the arch cracking the plastic and denting the steel arch in!!! There is 1L of exact match ICI 2 Pack Paint included, so shouldn't be a pricey repair!!
She needs a new (well...another!) Idle Stabilisation Valve (£150 VAG), as the one on her is kaputt and so throttle response isn't as instant/smooth as it should be, tho fine when rolling/normal driving.
She needs a new Windscreen for the new MOT (£50 Excess on your insurance!).
The Drivers door has some rust coming thru along bottom, and although she's been my pride and joy, there are some tiny parking marks/dents from her 15 year life (People opening doors onto her etc).
All of the above is reflected in the price!!!
This car has been my pride and joy, and well looked after (Regular Meguire's Gold Class polishing, reguler oil/filter changes using Mobil 1, etc, etc)
£2500 No Offers. This is by far the cheapest G60 about and best G60 you will find for even £1000 more!!
Jon 07843 618709 (RH17 5QU - BN41 2EU) PLEASE NO TIMEWASTERS!!!!
(Pics to follow later today)

very nice car but just one question how comes this doesnt have a widebody

I used to have a G60 in blue but it had the standard widebody. I thought all G60s were made with widebodies

Yeh they did the G60 Rallye (Road version of the rallye car - wide bodied etc etc) which they also sold on the uk market.
This G60, like all the others, sold on the german market (LHD). Front wheel drive, almost the same as a normal mk2 GTi but running a wider track, different front wings, different arch plastics (App. 1" Wider), 280mm brake discs (Nothing amazing to you scooby owners but if you think the 16v mk2 only had 256mm discs (Bigger than the 8v!!) it's pretty impressive! Lol), bonded in front windscreen, and ofcourse the same G Lader aided engine as found in the "Rallye"!!
(The actual list is endless, cable change box, Hydraulic clutch etc etc but you get the idea).
Cheers for looking!
