3rd Gen 1996 RX7
Hi folks,
Yes sadly & hopefully not for too long I need to look at the possibility of parting with my rotary love.
Anyway to the details for my baby:
1996 type R Bathurst (yes OK it has RZ stickers on the rear but hey it looks good on a black car so there!)
On private plate included in basic price.
Newera imported specifically for me as per my wish list of the time. So 1 owner ie me since being in UK 2 years ago.
Never failed to start first time & needless to say as a knowledgeable owner (stop laughing at the back) always treated like a lady & given the best drink (optimax+booster, & regular doses of castrol mineral oil). Always warmed up & cooled down properly (er OK you lads can calm down were not talking about ladies now lol)
Mileage: 41k
FSH & masses of paperwork for all work done, serviced regularly at WGT since it first came into country.
Taxd till July end, MOT for 11 months
Mods definitely to be sold with basic asking price/car of £12,000 ono:
Engine:
Apexi power FC ECU, HKS twin induction & cold air feed, aquamist water injection + greddy elbow, Helix oil catch tank
Exhaust:
full decat with twin exit exhaust (one of my personal favourites makes a nice bang bang when doing the flame thing ):
Transmission:
Exeddy single clutch & lightened flywheel+counterwieght (fitted 7k miles ago)
Which combines, at standard boost, to make a very smooth & perfectly delivered 302.8bhp:
Suspension:
Tein HA fully adjustable suspension (+C spanner for doing so), RE-Amemiya strength bar (Stiffens up front end of car, replaces antiroll bar mounts and radiator mounts, which are often bent on standard cars):
Twin air horns
Brakes:
Black diamond pads & grooved discs, Goodridge braided lines
Stich Gulf 18" & eagle F1 tyres (very good condition)):
Bodywork:
Veilside D1 front bumper, TBO designs (no longer in business so no fear of getting anyone looking the same) skirts, spats & spoiler.+ sleek rear foglight:
RE-Amemiya AD9 bonnet + flush bonnet locks:
Interior:
Momo steering wheel, mazdaspeed gear ****, power FC commander, Sony double DIN MD/CD headunit & CD interchanger, Greddy PRofec B-spec II boost controller, rear storage bins (ie the much in demand non seats), defi HUDS for speed, revs, boost, volts, compass, temperature & anything else you care to wire into a defi control unit....(i like these toys so may well take them with if you cant make a decent offer )
Security I wont go into for obvious reasons but cat A alarm/immobiliser + toys.
Potential extras which can be included in sale for the price in brackets:
mazdaspeed oil cap (£60)
Road Angel 2 (£170)
Jammer LRC100 (£150) mounted on front bumper but not wired in as yet.
Also 1st refusal would go to potential buyer on following goodies I have as spare or upgrades I had yet to fit:
2 sets of standard RX7 lightweight wheels & good tyres (~£300 a go)
1 set of 17" BBS alloys + new eagle F1's on 2 (~£500)
1 uprated Kaaz 1.5 diff in diff casing & royal purple diff/gear oil (~£500)
Only slight problem Im aware of is the passenger headlight cover does catch lightly on the bonnet, since headlight was removed to fit the water injection pump behind it, when being raised. I do have a brand new spare headlight cover.
Not in any rush to sell so no need to make silly offers & test pilots will not be welcomed unless they wish to hand over full asking price before getting keys or can show full & valid insurance & perfect weather conditions

Gota look at selling just to sort my sorry *** out & do house thing But no not replacing her just guna have a boring cheap car for a while.
Haven't doen a compression test & only on 40k so no rebuild & shouldn't need one for another 20k as it's been immaculately treated
